| More Info | The sentimental sounds of Spanish Latin Alternative’s super star singer songwriter Mikel Erentxun will sweep through the stage of The Conga Room. With over three decades of music under his belt, Mikel is a bonafide Latin Alternative music sensation. As the lead vocalist of Duncan Dhu throughout the 80s and now as a solo artist, the Spain transplant has developed a distinctively nostalgic sound, which he has infused into all ten of his solo productions. Because of Mikel’s signature introspective and melancholic lyrics, the singer is often compared to British rock star Morrissey, who Mikel regards as one of his greatest inspirations and to whom he paid homage by recording a Spanish version of the song, “There is a Light That Never Goes Out” (“Esta Luz Nunca Se Apagara”).
