Biografia:
El dúo Carlos y Alejandra fue formado en el 2006 en la cuidad de Boston Massachusetts. Estos dos jóvenes de 24 y 26 años de edad fueron unidos por su casa disquera independiente Romance Record localizada en Boston.
Gracias a los esfuerzos de Carlos y Alejandra y de su equipo, y la inmensa aceptación que le a brindado todo su publico que escucha su música, fueron nombrados como la Revelación del año en los prestigiosos Premios Lo Nuestro 2010. También fueron invitados especial para los Premios Cassandra en la Republica Dominicana y a los Latin Billboards en Puerto Rico. En el 2011 obténieron dos nominaciones en los Premios Lo Nuestro.
Carlos y Alejandra siguen trabajando fuerte para seguir triunfando en sus Carreras y poder brindarle a su publica una bachata moderna y de calidad.

Joan Soriano's Bio:
Joan Soriano’s bachata is packed with feeling: sweet lines with ragged edges, catchy melodies over tight guitar-shapes, and a bright raspy voice that finds the joy inside bittersweet. This is truth-music, well-crafted and well-produced. It entrances dancers. And taking us deeper into Joan’s story and Dominican culture, El Duque de la Bachata is a sharp and moving documentary by filmmaker Adam Taub. Adam earned the trust of Joan and his family and it shows. The film traces the topography of Joan’s life in music, guided by Adam’s keen eye for moments that open up and express life: tender, exuberant, sad, heartfelt, ordinary. One treat is Joan’s father dancing - never doubt that old guys can move. Joan’s music resonates in a deeper place after seeing the film. In an era loaded with low-nutrient entertainment, this is soul food for the long haul.
Soriano is the seventh of 15 kids. He abandoned school and the farming life his father envisioned for him to make his way as a musician. The Duke of Bachata is getting his shot at last, but he still lives in a house with no running water, and he struggles to support his wife and son.
The CD, El Duque de la Bachata, is full of playful cautionary tales that urge listeners to live wise, virtuous lives despite their circumstances. Among the bachatas and merengues here is one song that draws from old African religion. "Aye Belie" praises Belie Belcan, who corresponds to the Catholic St. Michael, and also the Voodoo deity Ogun. It's a nod to the deep history and cultural continuity that flow through this giddy, sorrowful, New World music.

The legendary ORQUESTA ARAGÓN is also known as La Madre de las Charangas Cubanas (The Mother of The Cuban Charangas) as well as La Charanga Eterna (The Eternal Charanga). Their long and successful career began on September 30th, 1939, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, under the leadership of Orestes Aragón. The band originally had the name Ritmica 39, then Ritmica Aragón before settling on its final form. Though they did not create the Cha-cha-cha, they were arguably the best charanga in Cuba during 1950s and 60s. Their trade-marks included high-class instrumentalists playing in tight ensemble style, and rhythmical innovations which kept their sound up to date. Over the years they progressed from their start as a danzoneria to play a wider variety of styles, danzón, then cha-cha-cha, then onda-cha, pachanga and son fusion.
They still perform today, based in Havana, but will be joining us in Downtown LA @ LA Live inside The Conga Room. Come dance!

Eddie Santiago, natural of the town of Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, belonged for two years to "El Conjunto Chaney", where interpreted the hit "Detalles", among others.
